Tiger Airways to Fly to Colombo.

Tiger Airways one of the top budget carriers from Singapore is going to introduce flight service between Colombo and Singapore from the coming month of May 31st. They have scheduled to fly three flights a week at the budget rate that are suitable for the today's tourist who used to travel with fewer baggages.

The currently prevailing peace in Sri Lanka does attract lot of tourists to the Island. So the Tiger Airways too had decided to take part in the passenger transport sector with the tourist industry's growth with their Colombo Singapore direct flight services.

Sri Lanka passport holders and Singapore passport holders are not necessary have to get their visitor visas as both of them are visa free country to each other.

According to available reports, the Tiger Airways is going to fly from Singapore to Colombo on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

The same flights are expected to fly back to Singapore from Colombo at 23.05 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 12.00 on Sundays.

Tiger Airways was started to provide flight service as a budget carrier in the Asia- Pacific region from the year 2004. They are operating between nearly 34 destinations within 14 countries with their fleet of Airbus A320's.

The Colombo - Singapore route is Tiger Airways second new route that was started in this year 2012.

A special promotional fare will be available at a first-come-first served basis from March 23 beginning at S$138 one-way, all-inclusive. Travel period is from May 31 to Sept 24, 2012.
