SpiceJet to fly to Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Now you can get one ore service to fly between India and Colombo at affordable price. India's popular airline SpiceJet is going to fly between Madurai, India and Colombo, Sri Lanka from 20th September 2012 onwards. It is expected to use a 78-seater turboprop aircraft to fly between the two countries.

Madurai is one of the popular cities in South India where the flight will tae off at 12.30 pm and will land in Colombo at 1.30 pm where the flight duration is just one hour only.

The air ticket is priced 9,009 Indian rupees for a return ticket and one way to Madurai Colombo is Rs.5, 638 while Colombo Madurai flight ticket will be priced at Rs.3, 371. The passengers will not be served with free meals and they have to pay for their meals onboard.

This flight service is expected to boost the tourist arrivals in Colombo as lot of foreign tourist used to visit Madurai for its ancient temples and art works.

The air tickets for the Colombo round trip can be booked online and SpiceJet offers lot of internal flight service in India where nearly all the popular cities are connected by them. As per the international route they are flying to Dubai and Kathmandu from India.
